Many important environmental events have happened on Earth Day since 1970, including the recent signing of the Paris Agreement, as Earth Day continues to be a momentous and unifying day each and every year. We look forward to being a part of this historic climate summit and making active progress to Restore Our Earth.’…..and Somerset House marks this year’s Earth Day, with a selection of shorts, selected by film collective Sharna Pax. Each film attentively observes different environmental elements: forest, sky, river.

  4. I’m a big fan of Tenzin Choegyal, who collaborated with Philip Glass on the stunning soundtrack for the film, Last Dalai Llama. Choegyal presents The Festival of Tibet 2021, starting with a special in person concert Prayers for Peace — Brisbane Sings for Tibet’ at Brisbane Powerhouse Arts on 24 April. This is followed by a ten day online virtual program of events through stories, panel discussions, music, poetry, workshops and films, and will focus on the impact of  climate change in Tibet and ongoing plight of Tibetans.
